I seem to myself, as in a dream,
An accidental guest in this dreadful body.

I just went through my Ravelry account and realized that I failed to post a single one of the heXmas gifties I churned out in 2019 – and one of them was a doozie! So, without further ado…
I made this shawl for a friend of mine who, after a lifetime of obesity, completely flipped her lifestyle and successfully shed a whopping 17 stone… only to be diagnosed immediately thereafter with Stage 4 breast cancer. Treatment is, for lack of a better term, a real bitch, so I made her this cozy and vibrant shawl for rough days when she needs a warm hug but just can’t stand to be around people. The pattern is by Johanna Lindahl.
